Update - this policy procedure was developed to meet Audit of Policy Governance and Implementation (AP21/36) recommendation for a Secretary endorsed charter reflecting the Service Experience directorate's responsibilities and authority in respect of the end-to-end policy process. A range of mandatory templates and forms have also been included. |

Changed the name from Student Discipline policy to Student Behaviour policy. Updated the policy, emphasising practices to promote positive behaviour in schools. The changes will affect the way principals and school staff manage student behaviour. Supporting documents also updated and strengthened to help schools implement the updated policy. System changes to support the new Student Behaviour and Suspension policy for the start of Term 4, 2022 are as follows:
